Hooray for knitpro!

Okay, so I'm still sitting here looking for crochet info and patterns on the net, and I come across this other girl's blog that turns me on to this program called knitpro. It takes any picture file you want and turns it into a grid pattern for use in knitting, crochet, and needlepoint. Can we say awesome?! I've recently become a big fan of the subversive needlepoint like these, so this new program just makes me hap-hap-happy. And can't you imagine that skull over there on a sweater? Very cool. I'm thinking about doing something with JTHM... Hehehe.

And so it begins...

Well, if I'm going to do this right, I suppose that I should invest in a digital camera to get some of my crafty junk on the net. Nothing better than being able to share stuff with complete strangers. But really, I hope I'll be able to help some people get ahold of those hard-to-find craft project instructions, like amigurumi (japanese crocheted stuffed animals). I've been doing some research, and I've found a few things. It looks like I'll have to learn to design my own, but unlike some people, I'll put my patterns on the web when I show off my work so people will be able to make them. Got to share the love, people.
